Emiliana Sparaco - Experienced Labor Professional

Emiliana Sparaco is a longtime organizer who focuses on developing campaign strategies that successfully win gains for working people. She has led contract negotiations and has been instrumental in the ratification of countless agreements. Emiliana's leadership track record includes helping numerous bargaining committees to achieve industry-setting contracts.

Ms. Sparaco completed the Labor Relations Certificate program at Cornell University and has extensive experience in grassroots networking and coalition-building. In 2024, she was recognized by the Metro Washington Labor Council, AFL-CIO’s Trade Unionist of the Year. Additionally, she has served in elected leadership positions in Labor unions.

Emiliana’s past professional experience spans across industries in both the pubic and private sectors. As a youth volunteer, she participated in coalition-building trainings that brought youth and students together in social issues-focused workshops. Away from work, Ms. Sparaco has a strong interest in local cultural events and enjoys going to museums, taking nature hikes, and visiting botanical gardens.
